The fastest growing gaming market in Europe in recent years deserved recognition with an encounter between peers. In response to this claim, G&M News, the only media outlet in the gaming industry worldwide that has covered this attractive market since 2021, decided to organize a pioneering meeting in Lisbon.
That’s why last Tuesday, March 26th, at night, the prestigious SUD Lisboa restaurant received on its terrace with swimming pool dozens of executives from the land-based and online gaming sectors, coming not only from Portugal, but also from the rest of the world. There were delegates from Entain Portugal, Lebull.pt, Romanti Casino Azores, Grupo Orenes – Bidluck, Goldenbet, Betsat, iBingo, TLF Entertainment, SokkerPRO, Brazino777, Onlyplay, ComeOn Group, LalaStars, True Flip, BetConstruct, Play’n GO , SmartX, CommerceGate and many other brands. Likewise, the presence of Bernardo Oliveira Neves, Secretary General of APAJO, the Portuguese Association of Betting and Online Gaming, was highlighted. There were also lawyers related to the industry, as well as influencers and affiliates. Regarding the countries, we can mention Portugal, Spain, Malta, Gibraltar, Ukraine, Brazil, Colombia, Uruguay, Morocco, Angola, Israel, and Macau.
As for the suppliers, the relevant companies Oddsgate, Lektou Law Firm, Vibra Gaming, Amusnet, and HAMEvent were sponsors.
AN EXQUISITE MENU AND THE BEST NETWORKING
Of course, to honor such excellent participants, led by its Executive Chef Patrick Lefeuvre and very attentive waiters, SUD Lisboa offered a menu of the highest level that was praised by all those present, demonstrating the unique quality of Portuguese gastronomy.
The welcoming drink included white wine Harvest Selection SUD, red wine Harvest Selection SUD, DIVAI sparkling wine, beer, and soft drinks. At lunch time, there were starters such as charculerle and cheese board, panzanela and mozzarella salad, sea fritturina, scallop carpaccio with coconut, and vichyssoise with leek. Main courses comprised grilled codfish and clam sauce, pan seared veal loin with thyme and celery cream, sauteed vegetables and rosemary potato, mushrooms, and pumpkin risotto. Finally, desserts were truly exquisite: crème brûlée, SUD tiramisu, SUD chocolate, caramel mini dome, and fresh fruits. All these delicacies were accompanied by white and red wine, beer, soft drinks, natural orange juice, water, coffee, and tea. At the closing, there were two hours of open bar, with drinks like gin and tonic, daiquiris, caipirinha and many more.
To liven up the evening, the lawyer and singer Carla Vicente performed different fado classics, the traditional Portuguese genre, with her band of great musicians.

Everyone present was very satisfied with the event, which provided the opportunity to gather with colleagues and even meet new people in the industry with whom to establish future business relationships.
