Ramiro Atucha exclusively presents the new Vibra VLT division

After the successful experience of offering its own platform and content in VLT terminals in the states of Paraiba and Maranhão in Brazil during the last year, this innovative unit is now created. The CEO at Vibra Gaming expresses his excitement and expectations for this process, through which the company will deploy LatAm operators a complete range of games and technological products.

The interviewee details the advantages of having one’s own tools, as well as underlines the flexibility to respond to any need of clients and partners in several markets in the region.

A piece of news that resonated strongly in the gaming industry in recent hours was the announcement by Vibra Gaming, an important developer of iGaming platforms and content for LatAm, of the launch of a new division, Vibra VLT terminals, after the retail success in several Brazilian states. In that sense, Vibra VLT offers multiple flexible options that allow you to work with any customer request, adapting the technology to existing hardware. That type of flexibility is what characterizes Vibra’s unique approach to the Latin American market.

This division is now combined with the provider’s online casino offering and sports betting platform, completing a true omnichannel solution, certified by GLI and ready for the regulatory requirements of Brazil and other countries. Plans also include launching terminals in Mexico and Peru in the coming months.

To learn more about this new business unit, G&M News consulted exclusively with Ramiro Atucha, CEO at Vibra Gaming.

What does this new launch represent for the company’s team?

These are moments of great pride for the team and for me. Now, we have a full range of content and technology products. We offer our own content (Vibra Gaming), our own omnichannel platform and technology solutions (Vibra Solutions), and now our own VLT platform solutions (Vibra VLT), serving any needs that customers may have, all completely flexible and localized to the Latin American market. Our first steps in the VLT market had been successful, with the integration of our platform and our content into terminals in Brazil. We are very excited about what is to come in the future.

What are the advantages of having your own content and platforms that can be connected to the clients’ VLTs?

The most comfortable thing for us would be to support a single terminal, but we understand that there are several clients who already have the hardware purchased or have the possibility of purchasing a certain type of hardware. In that case, we analyze the possibility of homologating that hardware and ensuring that our platform and our games work perfectly there. This gives us a competitive advantage that is aligned with our innovative spirit. It allows us to consolidate our role as flexible partners of operators, always ready to provide support and service to customers.

What does this leap in quality and quantity mean with the new Vibra VLT division?

Actually, it is a solution that we have had for a long time. We have always had our game server to support our titles, our EGM, to interact with physical terminals. Mainly, Vibra VLT responds to a need and requirement of the Brazilian market. But it also works for other markets. It is simply assembled as a product, certified by law and the various terminals available in the different jurisdictions begin to be approved. We believe it is a very important business opportunity for us and our partners. Without a doubt, we have a very competitive product to make a strong presence in this market.

What expectations do you have about the reception of this new proposal in different states of Brazil and, in the future, in other large markets such as Mexico and Peru?

We have very high expectations. Some time ago (June 2023), we created a different type of product, which is Scratch-a-Lot. Its particularity is that it allows players to have an experience very similar to that of a slot game, a casino game, but being a certified lottery game. There was a lot of interest in this product and our terminals from players in markets such as the State of Paraiba, in the northeast of Brazil. We wanted to replicate that positive experience elsewhere. In the remainder of the year, we will be expanding Vibra VLT to new state lotteries in Brazil, as well as to attractive territories such as Mexico and Peru. We will have a very busy and exciting year, growing the product, improving it and maintaining constant contact with customers and partners throughout the LatAm region.
