What was the company’s proposal for SiGMA Malta event?

SiGMA Europe in Malta is generally WiseGaming’s “Home Turf,” and we are always thrilled to connect with existing friends, forge new relationships, and, most importantly, enhance brand awareness. For WiseGaming, the key objectives are for the industry to know who we are, understand exactly what we do, and recognize the substantial positive impact we bring to our partnerships. In this sense, as always, our proposal centered around our transparency, spanning partnership management, technical capabilities, and data-driven innovation.

How do you assess your company’s growth this year in terms of customers and markets?

I can confirm 2024 has been a year of laying strong foundations for WiseGaming, serving as a steppingstone toward unprecedented growth in 2025. Our primary focus has been on understanding the technologies, components, products, and services required to meet the needs of our future clients. Additionally, WiseGaming is currently migrating a significant and well-established brand onto our platform, a testament to our technological expertise and partnership management capabilities.

How can you make a difference and be innovative in a competitive and highly demanding market?

When analyzing the industry as a whole, it’s clear that few providers or operators truly stand out, and we seem to have hit a plateau, awaiting the next “game-changing” innovation. WiseGaming focuses on two main factors: 1) the needs of our partners, and 2) emerging industry trends. Sometimes, listening to others’ ideas can be more impactful than solely focusing on your own. By absorbing insights from diverse data sources -both digitally and through entrepreneurial individuals-, we can remain adaptive and innovative in our direction. A key differentiator for WiseGaming is the significant positive impact we bring to our partners by closely aligning with their business goals. We prioritize ensuring our partners have everything they need to succeed, making their accomplishments our top priority.

How do you see the evolution of the gaming industry in Europe, both in terms of technology and regulatory issues?

As mentioned earlier, the industry seems to have plateaued somewhat, with stakeholders anticipating the next technological breakthrough. We need a “next big thing” that delivers a true “WOW” factor, not just minor adjustments to game mechanics. Sweepstakes are currently generating significant interest among operators, but whether they will become the next major trend remains uncertain. About regulation, now that’s a whole different ball game! In my view, more countries will continue to regulate the industry, driven by the potential for substantial tax revenue. However, whether they will get the regulatory framework right remains to be seen. Over time, as most EU countries establish individual regulations, we could see the emergence of a continental governing body -perhaps akin to the European Commission- managing overarching parameters while allowing individual states to set their own guidelines within those boundaries.

What will WiseGaming do in 2025 to stay at the forefront of product, technology, and customer service?

Throughout 2024, WiseGaming has been growing from strength to strength. Our focus has been twofold: building new strategic partnerships and enhancing existing ones. These efforts are positioning us for what promises to be our most successful year yet! Our approach is simple: a) listen to our partners, and b) embrace and adapt quickly to change. Customers are the lifeblood of this industry! While we continue to innovate on a technical level, we must never lose the human connection. Incorporating AI to enhance our human interactions will be a fundamental part of our strategy. Our vision for 2025 is clear: disrupt the status quo and establish ourselves as a leading White-Label and Turnkey provider, offering our partners the best opportunities for success!
