A new chapter in the history of ICE occurred this week at Fira Barcelona Gran Via. Over 50,000 executives walked the five pavilions of the convention center to do business, learn about the latest trends of the industry, and witness the latest products and technologies.
The decision to move the venue from traditional London city to Barcelona proved to be right, and organizers of Clarion Gaming should be proud and satisfied for all the effort made over the last two years, and also during the ICE event.
In terms of content, everything looked interesting and up to date, with lots of topics discussed at keynotes and conferences of the World Gaming Forum. The rebranded Sustainable Gambling Zone, sponsored by Flutter Entertainment, featured 26 safer gambling bodies and underlined the importance that the industry places on sustainability and player protection.
Besides, there was a sense of freshness, innovation and excitement at every corner of the event. Robots, virtual reality, activities at the Esports Arena, prizes and awards (like the Pitch ICE to EmpowerYourPlay), participation of sports icons such as heavyweight boxing champ Oleksandr Usyk, five-time World Chess Champion Magnus Carlsen, and football legends Hristo Stoichkov, Luis Figo, Michel Salgado, Iker Casillas and Michael Owen, were some of the highlights of the fair.
The perfect complement of ICE Barcelona was iGB Affiliate 2025, an ideal platform for iGaming affiliates to connect, collaborate and grow. It was a great opportunity for brands for networking, meeting new professionals and companies, and exploring business possibilities. This year’s event featured a record 250 industry-leading exhibitors and sponsors, bringing together a community of 8,000+ iGaming affiliates and tech vendors in a dynamic and engaging environment.
For all this and much more, from G&M News, we can conclude that ICE Barcelona 2025 was a very successful event on an individual and business level, and that it set the bar high for what will be the next edition, ICE 2026 at Fira Barcelona Gran Via on January 19-21st 2026.
