Leading global digital payments service provider OKTO announced the appointment of Edward Chandler as the new Group Chief Executive Officer (CEO). Chandler succeeds Filippos Antonopoulos, the company’s founder and CEO, who will transition to the role of Executive Chairman, while continuing as the controlling shareholder in OKTO.
With over 30 years of experience in scaling businesses and leading innovation in the payments and fintech sectors at prominent organizations such as Visa, Mastercard, and Barclays, Chandler brings a wealth of expertise to OKTO. His appointment comes at a pivotal time as the company continues to strengthen its position as a global fintech powerhouse and accelerates its expansion in the digital-first commerce and embedded finance markets and industries.
