In this document, the casino product team of Atlaslive shares key recommendations for how to position and promote games to get what operators really want: higher engagement, better retention, and stronger commercial outcomes.

Great content isn’t the problem; findability is. If your lobby looks busy but clicks don’t translate into play, the issue is how games are surfaced, not how many you have. Atlaslive’s casino team lays out a simple, repeatable approach to show the right titles to the right users at the right time.

At the core of the playbook are nine rules that operators can act on quickly:

Rule #1: Review game placement monthly using GGR, Active Players, and Turnover.

Rule #2: Treat high-traffic zones (first screen and top three navigation categories) as premium real estate.

Rule #3: Prioritize the top six positions in every category.

Rule #4: Keep categories thematically accurate (Megaways for Megaways, Crash for Crash, etc.).

Rule #5: Avoid overusing the same titles across multiple categories.

Rule #6: Limit category count to keep users focused (ideally 5-7 per page).

Rule #7: Accept that placement won’t fix weak appeal; rotate underperformers out.

Rule #8: Analyze and test continuously to spot momentum and fine-tune layout.

Rule #9: Refresh categories with high performers and vetted new releases on a steady cadence.
