revenuelab, a trusted partner in performance marketing, together with 420Team, is presenting a new case study that demonstrates the power of collaboration in traffic arbitrage. The campaign, launched in June 2025, delivered $18,500 in net profit and an ROI of 528 percent using email traffic for gambling and betting offers.

420Team is a young yet highly experienced team working with email campaigns, Facebook, and SEO traffic. While the group was formed only in early 2024, most of its members have more than five years of expertise in arbitrage. Their main focus is gambling and betting traffic in the European market, where they have tested over 20 affiliate programs, including direct advertisers.

The partnership with revenuelab started more than a year ago and has already proven its effectiveness. According to 420Team, the key to this case was the joint work format: not only a strong offer but also the active role of the network’s manager. By aligning custom retention funnels to fit the specifics of email traffic within a CPA model, the campaign was able to reach results far above expectations.

Before launching, 420Team prepared a fresh email database of about 30,000 addresses. After validation with tools like MillionVerifier and Debounce, the list was reduced to 24,000. Even then, about 5 percent of the traffic was lost to invalid or duplicate entries, but this was significantly less than it could have been without cleaning. Email validation, as noted by the team, became a decisive step that prevented major losses and allowed the funnels to perform as designed.

In email marketing for gambling, the design of the message plays a decisive role. The template must be simple yet convincing, with a clear structure, adaptive layout, and clean HTML code that loads correctly across devices. At the same time, the content has to strike a balance: provide accurate, non-misleading information while still engaging players and motivating them to act.

For this campaign, emails were localized into German, French, and English, which helped connect with audiences in each GEO and reduced friction at the first touchpoint. Correct localization also strengthened trust, as users received offers in their native language and cultural context.

Another important factor was tone. Instead of pushing aggressive CTAs, messages were built around transparency and relevance, ensuring that traffic from email lists was nurtured correctly. Combined with a responsive layout, this raised click-to-deposit rates and secured the high approval levels later reflected in the campaign statistics.

Campaign Statistics and Results

The campaign was launched in June 2025 with three main offers: Golden Crown, Gamblezen, and Gonzabet. These brands had already shown consistent conversion rates for the selected GEOs: Australia, New Zealand, Germany, Austria, Canada, and the Netherlands, making them reliable benchmarks for testing new retention funnels built specifically for email traffic.

While some in the affiliate space have declared email obsolete, this case proves the opposite. Starting with a fresh database of 30,000 addresses, validation with MillionVerifier and Debounce reduced it to 24,000, cutting out invalid traffic before launch. Even then, around 5 percent of traffic went to trash, but far less than it would have without cleaning. This step safeguarded funnel performance and showed that email can still deliver high-quality FTDs in competitive GEOs.

Across the launch period, 76 first-time deposits were recorded. The average CPA across all GEOs reached 250 EUR, while the approval rate stood at 95 percent. With expenses of $3,500 and revenue of $22,000, the campaign achieved $18,500 net profit. The resulting ROI was 528 percent, far above the initial forecast.

One notable outcome was the quality of the players. A significant share of traffic converted into high-value customers, including high rollers and VIPs, which helped speed up the payback cycle. The new funnels also reduced the negative impact of low-quality leads, cutting losses that are typical in email campaigns.

For affiliates working within gambling affiliate programs, this case demonstrates that proper preparation is as decisive as the offer itself, turning a standard campaign into a high-performing benchmark for the market.
