What inspired the creation of GLX? How does it align with Game Lounge’s long-term strategy?

The creation of GLX was inspired by Game Lounge’s ambition to provide an incubator for new acquisitions and its iGaming and non-iGaming-based properties outside of its core business focus. As the industry becomes increasingly competitive, there’s a clear need to adopt cutting-edge technologies and innovative methodologies to stay ahead. GLX was conceived to fill this gap. In line with Game Lounge’s long-term strategy to continue its growth within the iGaming SEO affiliate landscape, GLX sits alongside to provide greater opportunity to diversify its portfolio, innovate, and deliver value to new partners and customers.

GLX focuses on leveraging advanced technologies like AI and machine learning. What specific applications of these technologies interest you the most?

What excites me most is the ability to integrate these technologies into a cohesive strategy across our existing properties and to open up new opportunities, ensuring that GLX not only meets its operational goals, but also provides innovation and efficiency. Our application of these technologies across our portfolio will range depending on the underlying product from automation, predictive analytics, trend identification, and customer experience personalization.

Identifying emerging markets and demographics trends is a focus for GLX. Can you share any insights into which markets or demographics you see as pivotal for iGaming’s future growth?

Remaining agile and responsive to the iGaming landscape is key. Embracing a culture of constant learning and adaptation that will ensure our strategies to succeed and the correct application of technologies; both of these elements continue to be at the forefront of the industry. It’s also important not to be afraid to break new ground or challenge the status quo or conventional wisdom. Some of the greatest opportunities come from disruption and rethinking the obvious to better suit our customers and deliver greater value to them.

This center is also acting as an incubator for startups. What criteria do you use to select the ventures it will mentor and invest in?

Any venture needs to align to our strategic vision by showing potential to disrupt traditional models and focus on cutting-edge technology within the iGaming affiliation or an adjacent vertical. Market potential and scalability are also key alongside the opportunity for GLX to apply its internal capabilities to drive long-term value. In the iGaming sector, our aim is to always be customer centric. Therefore, ventures that prioritize exceptional user experiences and emphasize trust, transparency, and player safety will align to our approach. High ethical standards and responsibility need to be at the forefront of any venture, especially regarding responsible gaming practices and adherence to industry regulations.

How will the company face industry challenges and be disruptive in a competitive landscape?

Regulations and remaining compliant to them are always key challenges as the landscape will continue to evolve to address player/customer safety. That challenge escalates as you operate across different jurisdictions with changing regulations. Keeping abreast of these changes and being agile in our response will ensure compliance while identifying opportunities for innovation within the boundaries. Technology, which is always evolving at pace, creates its own challenge. Our approach is to have a flexible infrastructure in order to be responsive to technological shifts, therefore allowing us to pivot and implement solutions faster than others. Overall, the iGaming sector is increasingly competitive and finding innovative ways to stand out in this marketplace can be a significant challenge. GLX aims to disrupt this competitive landscape by focusing on technological excellence and data-driven strategies.
