He says users will try to enjoy various types of entertainment proposals from one single place, which will lead to an absolute convergence between gaming, music, movies and other content.

How has it been for your company in terms of the attendees that came to your booth and learnt about the products you presented?

The place has been much more convenient to us because we can have a bigger space to meet our customers. We have some different zones in our booth. We can showcase our products in a better way. Also, the amount of people has increased in comparison to previous years. This is also a very positive sign to us. In sum, we are getting many benefits from the expansion of the venue on Malta.

EvenBet Gaming is also growing, constantly introducing new features and enhancements to your solutions. I know you have included more interaction for players. Can you explain me a bit more about these new features that you have introduced?

The idea behind these improvements is to add more social features, animations and interaction. We are focusing on emerging markets where players are really demanding. They don’t play only casino games, but also more social games like poker, where they can win money and socialize with others. It’s a combination of new features with more funny games, making them more casual, similar to other mobile games. Latest additions include throwing objects, emojis, and video chat. Everything is focused on social interaction during the poker matches.

That’s because audiences are always new. I’m interested in the process. When you sit down with the operators, they can say: “I know my customers” But you also know them because you create products for them. So how is the interaction when you discuss about products with your clients?

We are getting ideas about product development, considering two sources. One is the customer driven approach. We talk with our customers, understanding their own ideas and needs. So we get some feedback from them to know, for instance, what features they need to increase LTV retention, how to improve acquisition, and so forth. At the same time, we believe operators may not see the whole picture. We also need to go directly to players in specific regions and ask them about their preferences and what features they like the most. That would be the second type of approach. Of course, we also do some marketing research. With all of this, we sit down with operators and recommend them which way to go in terms of user experience.

Manuel Jimenez, efficient Sales Manager, LatAm, at EvenBet Gaming, along with the leader of the company.

Focusing on Latin America, as you may know, in this region, players really love poker. We see an increasingly number of players enjoying online poker. At the same time, we have the iGaming regulation advancing as well. What’s your point of view on the state of the industry in LatAm?

As poker providers, we have to stay close to regulators in LatAm. Online poker is quite an emerging vertical in the region, and it’s starting to grow. So for us, it’s very important to explain regulators main differences between a poker offering and sportsbook or casino verticals. The problem is that some LatAm national entities try to regulate poker in the same way they do with online casino games or sports betting. Sometimes, we find it hard to explain them the whole mechanism behind this game and how dissimilar it is to classical casino games, but we need to do it in order to help our vertical grow in Latin America. We think online poker should definitely be regulated. It will help make the industry a more sustainable business, but we need to have it regulated in the right way.

What’s coming next? I mean, we always speak about technology, but there are also different audiences, lots of new trends in terms of how entertainment evolves. It’s not only poker, but how entertainment content is changing worldwide. A company like yours has to be ready for every possible scenario. What the future will bring to EvenBet Gaming?

It’s all about building ecosystems. Looking at the future, we don’t have to think only about gaming, but entertainment as a whole. We are talking now about the Metaverse, the convergence with other entertainment verticals like movies, video, and music. The concept is to provide a seamless user experience so they can consume diverse entertainment content from one single place. This is going to happen in the next 10 or 20 years. Companies in the industry need to look at this direction and be ready to expand their ecosystem.
