Gabidullin (Slotegrator). Business and technology solutions for clients to expand their growth potential

In this exclusive interview, Ayvar Gabidullin, Business Development Manager at Slotegrator, describes the advantages of the company’s new platform and products, analyzes the evolution of LatAm and United States’ markets, and anticipates how the use of electronic wallets and cryptocurrencies will boost the progress of mobile gaming.

A key provider of omnichannel products for various verticals in the iGaming industry, over the last 10 years, the firm has launched 150 projects, working together with 100 partners and 250 clients worldwide.

How important is it for your company to have launched your new platform, with renewed modules and other features?

It’s a really big deal. We’ve improved our offer using technologies involved in the modern microservice architecture of the new platform. By optimizing speed, security, and stability indicators, customers receive a better product and a higher level of service. The process of launching a gambling project has also greatly accelerated. There are more opportunities for integration with various systems, including game content developers, and payment services. In order to strengthen aggregation capabilities, new tools have been created and functional modules have been improved. Our development team put a lot of work into it and, according to the feedback so far, it shows.

Slotegrator generates reports with in-depth analysis of iGaming markets around the world. What is your take on the evolution of regions such as the United States and Latin America?

LatAm is one of the most promising areas for launching an iGaming business. While keeping a close eye on the market over the last ten years, Slotegrator has seen a trend towards an increase in the number of online casinos on the continent every year. The high pace of development of the Latin American gambling market is due to changes in regulation, the disruption of the Coronavirus, increasing Internet access, and other factors. By the way, mobile gambling is popular there! For most Latin Americans, mobile Internet is the only access they have. Local players love slots, bingo and poker, but, of course, they’re most famously passionate about sports betting. On the other hand, the online gambling market in the United States has been rising more promising for several years now. The first wave of legalization mostly applied to sports betting, but there is also growth in the online casino sector, as some states are legalizing those products as well. State after state is starting to issue gambling licenses. It’s not easy to enter this market, as each state will have its own licensing procedure and requirements, but it could well be worth it. Online casino users’ game preferences are the same as in land-based establishments: slots, table games with live dealers, and bingo. Players prefer older types of slots, but I predict newer types of games will come to the U.S. market soon.

In terms of products, Slotegrator offers a wide range of fantastic solutions, such as APIgrator, Moneygrator, Telegram Casino, and many others. How do you think these advanced tools can help operators expand their business?

Slotegrator provides each operator with an individual set of business solutions and tools. It depends primarily on the target market and, accordingly, on end users’ preferences in games, payment methods, and content specifics. APIgrator, Moneygrator, and our other products make it possible to work with each client individually.

How relevant is it to apply KYC processes to understand the current needs of users and attract younger bettors?

Very. Obviously, KYC measures are essential in terms of compliance, but they have even more applications when combined with an effective CRM system. In a word: marketing. User segmentation makes for more effective email marketing campaigns, for example, and helps operators take the right steps to increase retention throughout the user’s lifetime. Our platform has some very effective (and easy-to-use) tools in this area. Of course, analyzing data on metrics such as player age could have a direct impact on decisions like game choice. For instance, younger bettors are more drawn to new forms of gaming like crash games.

What is your prediction for the near future of the iGaming industry, and how will Slotegrator continue to lead the sector with its technological innovations?

Online casinos are gradually replacing land-based gambling establishments. Mobile gambling is a key iGaming trend, which is why we pay special attention to optimizing platforms for mobile devices and improving our Telegram Casino product, which is enjoying exploding popularity due to user demand for easy access and fast navigation. In addition, Telegram Casino not only improves the gaming experience on mobile devices, but also attracts new audience segments. The use of electronic wallets and cryptocurrencies in developing countries is becoming more and more common. For example, in the Indian market, until recently, online casinos only accepted fiat currencies, but according to Slotegrator forecasts, more than 50% of gambling sites will provide their users with the opportunity to make deposits in cryptocurrency within only 2 years. To summarize, we can say that any trend is formed based on the development of technology. The iGaming industry is particularly influenced by blockchain technologies, PWA technologies, and Big Data. While VR/AR technologies are not yet widely used in the industry, I hope to see the first large VR projects entering the market in the near future.
