Main takeaways are that gaming revenues at an international level will be USD 188.8 billion in 2025, reaching USD 206.5 billion by 2028. The player base will be 3.6 billion by the end of this year, and 3.9 billion in 2028. Moreover, gaming consoles are leading growth (+5.5% YoY), while USA and China together account for 50% of total consumer spend.

Meanwhile, Newzoo predicted that the number of paying-players will reach 1.6 billion, representing 44% of total players, with an average spend of USD 119.7.
