From September 1st to October 31st, 2025, relevant affiliate iGaming and betting marketing agency Boomerang Partners is hosting the first sports traffic tournament, the Golden Boomerang League. Participants include current and new affiliate partners of the company who generate FTDs for sports brands in its client portfolio. Each affiliate partner who generates 20 or more sports FTDs will be eligible for the final prize draw. 49 teams have already met such conditions.

In the first month of the tournament, sports traffic to brands within Boomerang Partners’ client portfolio grew by 31%. The company notes that this surge coincided with the active start of top European football leagues, indicating that seasonal factors also contributed to the positive performance.
The top sports events driving the most traffic during the first month of the Golden Boomerang League were the football matches of the Champions League and the Europa League. Looking ahead to October, Boomerang Partners anticipates a strong focus on the Champions League, particularly on the matchups of Arsenal vs Atletico Madrid, Bayer Leverkusen vs PSG, and Real Madrid vs Juventus (October 21-22nd). The football spotlight will also fall on Spain on October 26th for El Clasico between Real Madrid and Barcelona. Furthermore, the NBA season tips off on October 21st with two high-profile games: Thunder vs Rockets and Warriors vs Lakers.
Prizes and recognition
The Golden Boomerang League 2025 winners will be formally announced and celebrated on stage on the second day of SiGMA Rome, on November 5th, 2025. The grand prize is an automatic qualification for attendance of the third season of the Golden Boomerang Awards 2026, the annual global traffic tournament for elite affiliate teams. This industry-leading event is highly exclusive.
