Industry chooses G&M News as the preferred media on LinkedIn

In just a year and a half, the multiplatform that creates original gaming content has accumulated 2,174 followers, making it the most chosen information page in Ibero-America for the sector.

After 18 months from launching, and based on the support and trust of the gambling industry, G&M News has managed to surpass its competitors on LinkedIn, while continuing to grow strongly on other social networks.

From day one, in July 2019, the focus of Gaming and Media News has been to generate and disseminate academic B2B articles for professionals in the gaming sector. Likewise, the idea was to integrate these professionals so that they could transmit, from our platform, their knowledge and experiences to their peers, through sections such as ‘Experts of the Industry’, ‘Women in the Sector’, ‘Five Marketing Keys’ and more. At the same time, recognizing the advancement of different segments of the entertainment business, such as Esports and video games, from the beginning, we decided the development of content for that niche, with a B2C approach that would take into account the interests and needs of gamers.

Currently, we can say that these objectives are being met. At least, this has been recognized by the industry, which has chosen G&M News not only for its complete website (https://g-mnews.com/), but also on its social networks: LinkedIn (https://www.linkedin.com/company/40723705/), Twitter (https://twitter.com/GamingandMedia), Instagram (https://www.instagram.com/gamingandmedianews/), Facebook (https://www.facebook.com/gamingandmedianews), and the YouTube channel (https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCbcDLGdec3xZigjJMqC_rLw).

Regarding LinkedIn, G&M News wants to thank its 2,174 followers, who make it, as of today, the preferred Ibero-American media (Spanish and Portuguese speaking) by readers of the gaming sector. Of course, these numbers speak for themselves. Graphics show the notable annual evolution in terms of new followers, as well as the high interaction rate of 6.16% throughout 2020.

Beyond these indicators, approval from the industry is constantly confirmed by supportive messages we receive every day from executives who read, comment and share our articles. We are totally grateful for the positive response to our work. In this sense, we will continue to strengthen our social networks and our interaction with global audiences in order to keep on complying with our commitment of creating and distributing original, interesting academic content, from Latin America to the world.
