“Since the beginning of 2021, the Brazilian market, including due to the ease of language, has been an important focus for us. By following the entire lead-up to the regulation, we believe we have finally reached the point where we understand that we should be there. We want to be a reference brand and a reference software in Brazil,” expressed Paulo Lopes, Wagner Fernandes and Guilherme Graziani, Oddsgate’s main executives, during an exclusive interview with Gaming and Media News.
The company, based in Portugal, is one of several relevant companies in the iGaming sector that confirmed its support for G&M Eventos Portugal, an industry gathering that will take place on March 26th, 2024, in Lisbon.
The unanimous opinion of the executives is that the Brazilian market will be the focus of the company. To achieve this, they put a lot of effort and were dedicated throughout 2023 to giving, capturing and having a sense of engagement with their customers. Oddsgate’s software and support services were a great addition to operators who were focusing on the marketing side and now became increasingly stronger and prepared for the regulatory market.
When looking at the Brazilian regulatory market, they stated that: “We had to prepare ourselves with all the necessary certifications from the responsible authorities, such as GLI 19 and GLI 33. With this quality recognition today, we can say that we are prepared for Brazilian regulations and provide total support, not only technical but also human, to all the operations that are with us.”
Furthermore, the executives added that their focus are the Brazilian operators, and Oddsgate intends to continue evolving with them, so that they become increasingly referents in the market.
On the other hand, Paulo Lopes, Wagner Fernandes and Guilherme Graziani predict that many large global brands will enter the Brazilian market thanks to the regulation of gaming and betting in Brazil. They conclude by stating: “We are sure that we will be able to continue growing with our operators and with all the experience we now have in the Brazilian market, we are confident that this will be an important factor compared to other competitors that may enter the territory.”
