What were the company’s main achievements in 2025 and what projections do you have for 2026?
Over the last 3 years, we have been on a very strong growth trajectory year on year. 2025 was in line with this growth. One of the things I love about Mindway AI is how we are constantly updating GameScanner functionality whilst bringing something new to the market. Last year, due to a lot of operator demand, we decided to bring new AML functionality to market. We view AML and RG to be on two sides of the same coin. We launched our AML solution to the market in late September last year and have already had significant adoption, which has been very exciting. Around the same time frame, we officially announced our entrance into the physical casino space by communicating a groundbreaking partnership with Crown Resorts, who adopted GameScanner across all three of their Australian establishments. This has opened significant interest in the U.S. market and has spearheaded us into very useful partnership conversations with some of the largest casino resorts in the world.
Which are the advantages of the GameScanner solution? Why is it essential for gaming operators (land-based and online) to integrate them into their platforms?
It seems that we have now become the globally preferred solution in this space with our coverage spanning 65 markets with both solutions. We now find ourselves to be a central pawn in a growing regulatory trend which is in line with the regulatory application of AI & ML systems to address customer behaviors through specific legislation that requires such systems to remain compliant. We help operators maintain in the realms of compliance whilst being able to adequately protect, sustain and retain the customer database for LTV.
What is Mindway AI’s strategy for Latin America and how are you positioning in this region that demands a localized approach due to the diverse realities of each territory?
In 2024, we had extensive meetings to introduce AI & ML systems to the MoF Brazil. After that, we were pleasantly surprised to see that customer behavioral monitoring was mandated in the country on January 1st, 2025. We have had a windfall of Brazilian operator partnerships. We anticipate Brazil to have set the pace of robust regulation that will influence other emerging markets such as Peru, which is now an open market, and Chile when they regulate. We take a localized approach toward all of the markets we operate in customizing the UI of our services. We are also able to localize our algorithm to consider the various cultural nuances of every market, in line with the regulatory requirements of that jurisdiction.
Why do betting operators in Latin America and the United States need to continue working to strengthen their responsible gambling and player protection measures? How can your company help them in this regard?
The U.S. is drastically behind the rest of the world by way of adequate and robust regulation and should take inspiration from the Brazilian marketplace, which has done an excellent job with the first round of official regulations. In the U.S., only the state of NJ has set modernized regulation in line with the rest of the world. Operators like PrizePicks, who have adopted our tech outside the scope of the current regulations, actually have a strategic advantage against those who are not using our systems, as we are able to deliver enhanced operational and analytical oversight toward the customer database. Currently, we are keeping our finger on the pulse of regulatory change in the LatAm region and are very open to working with and educating the local regulators on the power of AI and ML systems and what these tools can bring to any market especially, with sustainability in mind.
How can AI help improve the prevention of problem gambling behavior, both now and in the future?
AI helps increase operational adjacencies to address every player in the customer database. Each year that passes, we have become more sophisticated in how we are evolving the GameScanner solution. Systems like ours offer explainable AI, which empowers RG, Compliance and AML professionals to understand precisely what has happened to the player within the customer journey on their platforms. As time moves forward, you can expect to see more systems like ours become even more personalized and efficient by way of detection and intervention. I have been pleasantly surprised to see how more sophisticated AI bots are becoming in terms of how their algorithms have also been trained with a scientific foundation. The next five years will be filled with more significant developments in this space, without a doubt.
What are the company’s plans in order to continuing to lead the way in shaping a new standard for responsible gaming internationally?
Now, that would be telling, whilst we have been watching what other research institutions are doing in our space, we have been working in silence to bring something truly groundbreaking to market for 2027. Watch this space.
