As a smaller and more agile company, you mention being able to quickly respond to changing market demands. How do these advantages translate into success for your partners?

Our agility allows us to swiftly adapt to market changes and partner needs, ensuring timely updates and innovations. We use a large amount of data to inform our development process and look to deliver games that our customers will want to provide, rather than just content for content sake. This combination of flexibility and value fosters strong, collaborative relationships, enabling our partners to thrive in competitive markets.​

Your company has been shortlisted as ‘Casino Supplier: Latin America’. What does this nomination mean to you, and how does it reflect the work you’ve done over the past year?

Being shortlisted for the ‘Casino Supplier of the Year: Latin America’ at the SBC Americas Awards is a significant milestone for Habanero. This recognition underscores our commitment to delivering high-quality, engaging content tailored to diverse markets. Over the past year, we have consistently rolled out exciting slots without compromising on our core values and original mathematics. Our expansion into new markets, as well as collaborations with major operators, have been pivotal in our growth. ​

What are some of the key titles or new features you’ll be showcasing in that event?

At next SBC Summit Americas, we are excited to showcase our latest titles that blend classic slot experiences with innovative mechanics. While we always aim to capture the essence of traditional slots, we have been more experimental in our themes and mechanics to deliver fresh experiences. We anticipate the event will be a fantastic opportunity to connect with industry peers, share insights, and explore new collaborations. ​

How do you see the evolution of player preferences in 2025, and in which way is Habanero adapting its game design and user experience to meet those trends?

Player preferences in 2025 are shifting towards games that offer more interactivity and strategic elements. There is a growing interest in crash games and titles that incorporate decision-making aspects, giving players a sense of control over outcomes. Additionally, players are seeking more social gaming experiences, with features like in-game chats enhancing engagement. Habanero is adapting by developing games that incorporate these elements, ensuring our offerings remain relevant and appealing to modern players.​

Looking ahead, what markets or regions are you most focused on for growth and expansion? Are there any strategic plans or product launches you’d like to share with us?

We are focusing on expanding into regulated markets, following our recent accreditation in Greece, Denmark, and Peru, with plans to introduce our content to North American players soon. Designed with a mathematical core that resonates with land-based players, our games have successfully transitioned these demographics to the online realm in markets like Italy and South Africa. We believe this approach will be well-received in the Americas. Our renowned characteristics, like agility, customization, and constant innovation, are key drivers for our sustained growth. In this sense, our goal is to offer experiences that work well everywhere, and we are excited about the opportunities ahead.​
