By Ulises Gil, journalist at G&M News.
What does the responsibility of leading an event as significant as iGB L!VE mean to you, both personally and professionally?
First of all, I want to thank G&M News, a great colleague and ally for us in terms of communication.
On a personal level, it is an honor to be part of the iGB L!VE team, which has done an incredible job reorganizing and relocating the event. It’s truly a pleasure to work with them, and I’m very excited about what we’re building. iGB L!VE has become a must-attend event for all iGaming stakeholders. Our focus is on improving customer experience and ensuring that Latin America has a central place in the gathering. We are truly delighted to connect this global community, and what excites us the most is the opportunity to generate new growth opportunities for everyone involved.
In terms of strategies, what objectives have been set for the show, especially considering the relocation from Amsterdam to London?
Moving iGB L!VE from Amsterdam to London is a massive operation, comparable to what we experienced with ICE’s move from London to Barcelona, something we’ve discussed previously. We chose to move to London because we believe it’s the best decision for the event and because we want iGB L!VE to become the new epicenter of the gaming industry. This move comes with significant growth: we project a 25% increase in attendance and expect to welcome over 15,000 people, which would set a new record for us. Our objective is not just to grow in size but to represent the entire industry comprehensively and remain at the forefront. We aim to deliver a high-level event, full of valuable information and real opportunities. Most importantly, we want to bring the entire community together around a common goal: putting the player experience above all. That vision keeps us focused on what truly matters. This year, we’re also incorporating the iGB Awards and many other new initiatives. We are confident that this edition will see spectacular growth.
What level of participation do you expect from emerging markets, particularly Latin America, and what initiatives are being developed to encourage their integration into the event?
Latin America holds a top priority in the iGB L!VE strategy. The show will feature content specifically designed for the region, delivered by experts who deeply understand the industry. This allows operators and suppliers to stay updated and continue evolving. For us, Latin America is more than just a growing region; we aim to foster meaningful connections, support its evolution, and create value alongside key stakeholders. One of iGB L!VE’s greatest strengths is its ability to create bonds, and we are committed to giving Latin America the spotlight it deserves. Additionally, this year we are honored to host the Brazilian Lounge, a dedicated space that will bring together the Brazilian community and surely become a key meeting point to learn more about that region. We’ll also host a football tournament on the last day of the event, and our website features a dedicated section for activities focused on Latin America.
From Clarion Gaming’s perspective, how important is it to establish partnerships with specialized media outlets like G&M News to enhance coverage and events visibility?
It’s absolutely essential! Nothing we do would be possible without the support of specialized media like G&M News. It’s a great honor to work with your company. You are professional, dedicated, and the relationship we’ve built has been very productive for both parties. Coverage before, during, and after the event is crucial, not just to amplify our reach, but also to help us learn and continue improving. We hope this partnership keeps growing stronger for many years to come.
What message would you send to executives and companies in the sector who haven’t yet confirmed their attendance at iGB L!VE 2025 in London?
In a context where the online market is growing and constantly evolving, operators, affiliates, and providers have so much to gain by coming together in one place. iGB L!VE continues to offer a unique experience for networking, exchanging ideas, and building strategic partnerships. We invite everyone to be part of this true gaming festival, an unmissable event for the industry. See you from July 1st to 4th in London. We’ll be waiting for you!
