The Baron Upright has officially embarked on its international journey, starting in EMEA. What inspired this multi-country launch strategy, and how has the global reception been so far?

The speed at which we commercialize hardware and games internationally has been a top priority for Aristocrat. We’ve been very proactive in bringing The Baron Upright to markets worldwide as quickly as possible. For the EMEA launch, we wanted to try something new and different, which led to the idea of launching seven units across seven locations over seven days. To amplify the installations, we engaged our LinkedIn audience by sharing a new video each day of the campaign, providing them with a behind-the-scenes look. Additionally, we activated at partner locations with marketing promotions and giveaways to boost engagement. The global reception has been overwhelmingly positive, and we anticipate that The Baron Upright will enter more markets in the near future.

At the recent Indian Gaming Tradeshow & Convention 2025, Aristocrat showcased an impressive lineup. Which of these new titles or product lines do you see having the greatest impact in the market this year?

The Baron Upright continues to build momentum, and we’re introducing new titles both for sale and for premium lease, including Cash Express Legend, the first title in the Premium Lease category. It’s the latest chapter in the Cash Express series, bringing together player-favorite features from Cash Express Luxury Line™ and other iconic Aristocrat games. Another exciting launch is The Baron Portrait, a new cabinet featuring a 43″ curved ultra-HD 4K monitor, accompanied by an exciting portfolio of games that will certainly make waves in the market.

The upcoming launch of The Baron Portrait introduces three new game families — Spooky Link™, Coin Trio™ Buffalo™, and Fa Fa Fa™. What sets these games apart in terms of player engagement and innovation?

With The Baron Portrait, we’re introducing three new game families that build on well-loved Aristocrat brands. These games extend the success of Mo’ Mummy, Buffalo, and Coin Trio, which have resonated with players. All three game families feature Triple Metamorphic, a proven mechanic that players have enjoyed across various Aristocrat games. We believe this combination of familiar brands and innovative mechanics will continue to drive engagement and excitement in the market.

Dragon Link has just been awarded Best Slot Solution at the Asia Gaming Awards 2025. What does this recognition mean to the team, and how do you plan to build on that momentum?

Dragon Link has been an international success, and winning the Best Slot Solution award at the Asia Gaming Awards 2025 is a significant recognition for our team. The introduction of Phoenix Link has not taken away from Dragon Link as some expected; instead, players are enjoying both titles together, with the two serving as complementary experiences. This recognition fuels our commitment to continuing to innovate and provide players with exceptional experiences across both products.

How does Aristocrat balance technological innovation with maintaining the classic elements that players love? Can you share a bit about your development philosophy?

At Aristocrat, our approach is rooted in a player-first philosophy. We know what our players love, whether it’s certain gameplay mechanics or the classic cabinet designs. When we innovate, we make sure it aligns with these core elements that define the player experience. Innovation isn’t just about introducing new features; it’s about adding meaningful value. We take an iterative approach, testing ideas early and refining them based on feedback from players, customers, and our internal teams. This process ensures we can innovate without losing sight of what made the game special in the first place.

Looking ahead, what trends or emerging technologies do you believe will shape the future of slot gaming, and how is Aristocrat preparing to lead in that space?

There’s a growing demand for omni-channel experiences, where players can access their favorite content across various devices, whether they’re in a casino or playing on their mobile. Aristocrat is at the forefront of this shift, and we’ll continue to support our customers in their ventures into online gaming. Our focus is on delivering powerful brands and content that players love, across all channels. We are preparing to lead this space by integrating emerging technologies, enhancing gameplay, and ensuring that our games can be enjoyed seamlessly across both land-based and online platforms.
