Altenar was recently named Best Online Sportsbook Provider 2025 at SiGMA Americas. What does this award mean for the company?
It was a proud moment for us — especially because it’s a reflection of the hard work across all teams, from tech to support to commercial. The award reinforces that our approach — combining innovation with close operator support — is being recognised by the industry. It motivates us to keep pushing, especially in dynamic regions like Latin America, where local knowledge and fast adaptation are key.
Technology and product customization seem central to Altenar’s offering. How do you help operators tailor their sportsbook?
We give operators a high degree of control over the front-end, promotions, bet types, and even the odds display. That means they can create an experience that truly fits their market. For example, in Brazil, we’ve adjusted to player behaviors with localised navigation and popular bet types like combo boosts and specific football markets. The goal is always to empower operators to be competitive and relevant in their own territories.
What trends or specific demands are you currently observing from LatAm operators?
Operators in LatAm are asking for three main things: localisation, scalability, and speed. They want platforms that speak the local language — literally and culturally — with full control over their margins and promotions, UX flows, and support that make sense to their audience. At the same time, they’re looking for partners who can grow with them and help navigate the upcoming regulatory changes in key markets like Brazil, Chile, and Peru.

They’re absolutely essential. Features like bet boosts and enhanced odds create excitement and differentiation in a crowded market. When paired with solid segmentation tools, they also help operators run more targeted campaigns that drive conversion and retention. Ultimately, these tools are about giving operators more levers to pull — and that’s key to growing both revenue and player loyalty.
Looking ahead to 2025, what are Altenar’s main goals in Latin America?
For 2025, we’re focused on deepening our presence in Latin America — especially in newly regulated or soon-to-regulate markets. We’re investing in local partnerships, compliance readiness, and region-specific features. At the same time, the challenge is staying agile: regulation is evolving fast, and so are player expectations. Our goal is to remain a trusted partner that helps operators adapt and grow through all of it.
